First of all, I would like to thank you for taking the time to write a mission statement.  As you correctly identified in your email, there is still a minority of the member population posting to the site.  It will change as we get more refined ideas of organization. I agree that emotion should be removed from the mission statement. Not because we don't feel, but because it's not about feeling, it's about facts.  I disagree with your second statement, capitalism did cause more harm then good, but it was a necessary evolutionary step to get us to this point.  With that in mind, I suggest revising all mission statements by removing the statements about past forms of economic organization, it suits no end other then to point out targets.  It doesn't promote the model of Parecon.
