Next CAPES Economics Salon: August 5, Mercury Cafe in Chicago
newsletter | public
- Two announcements:
-
(1) An essay by parecon co-founder Robin Hahnel has been reformatted and is available on the CAPES website:
-
(2) The CAPES Economics Salon we had in July was very fruitful, and those who attended agreed to hold another salon in August. Thus, we're organizing another CAPES Economics Salon on Wednesday, August 5, and we cordially invite you to attend.
-
What's an Economics Salon? It's a discussion space to consider participatory economics and matters related to participatory economics in a friendly non-pressured environment. Anyone attending can learn, explore and share ideas, ask questions, discuss concerns, brainstorm, and generally follow wherever one's thoughts may lead.
-
The next CAPES Economics Salon will be held on Wednesday, August 5, starting at 7pm, at the Mercury Cafe (1505 W. Chicago). Feel free to spread the word and bring friends.
