Echan Los Patrones! & Espanol-English Flyers
Projects | public
[Note the flyers attached below: I've deleted the Spanish/English flyer I took to Georgia, which was mostly just a teaser for the SPANISH LANGUAGE PARECON INTRO pages at www.lavaca.org, an Argentinian workers' site. Below I've added a much smaller and more focused bilingual web teaser with Espanol and English websites (including lavaca), and also a detailed four-page Parecon Q&A en Espanol.]
I'm going to the big annual protest against SOA/WHINSEC in Georgia this weekend (Nov 19-20: check out www.soaw.org now for more info) and while there I'm attending the forum of Echan Los Patrones (fire the bosses!), a collective of Argentinian workers who took over their bankrupt factories mostly during the economic collapse of 2001 and have been running these factories themselves, equitably and productively. The ZNet parecon site (www.parecon.org) links to the Argentinian website quoted in Spanish for the flyer (and badly translated into English on the reverse using translation websites and luck) and I thought I'd hand these out, identifying myself as a CAPES member not representing the group.
Anyway, check out the attached flyer.
In solidarity, Sean Reynolds.
