Parecon co-inventor Michael Albert in Chicago Aug 5-6

Michael Albert, an organizer with Z Magazine and ZNet, and one of the co-inventors of participatory economics, will be in Chicago this weekend at the first national convention of the new SDS (Students for a Democratic Society), to be held at the University of Chicago. Michael is also scheduled to hold a conference workshop about participatory economics with members of CAPES on Sunday, August 6, from 4pm to 6pm. The exact location on campus is yet to be determined, but is slated for either Ida Noyes Hall or Cobb Hall (5811 S. Ellis Avenue).
